Aluminum oxide Al2O3 is a high-quality ceramic which, due to its properties, is used most frequently as technical ceramics and laboratory ceramics. Alumina ceramics offer excellent chemical resistance, high hardness, high strength and resistance to alkali and other fluxes.

Some of the most common industrial applications of aluminum oxide ceramics are: Applications in the high temperature range such as in industrial furnaces or in vacuum chambers, power electronics and sensor technology.

We offer a wide range of different Al2O3 ceramics in different sizes. Depending on the area of application and batch sizes, specific pressing and sintering processes are used for production, which enables us to offer small quantities efficiently and cost-effectively. Al2O3 components that we mainly sell to small and medium-sized companies, corporations and laboratories are mostly manufactured according to customer-specific drawings. We also manufacture aluminum oxide plates and tubes to customer requirements with high tolerance accuracy, from small quantities to large series.

We work exclusively with high-quality aluminum oxide Al2O3 ceramics. Depending on the area of application and your wishes, the ceramics can have a purity between 95% and 99.9%. Different purities have a significant influence on the properties of ceramics, such as strength and high-temperature resistance. However, higher purity is not always the better option, for example if you want to firmly bond the ceramic to metals using a soldering process. For aluminum oxide plates that are used as a sinter base and are intended to withstand high temperatures and loads, we recommend high-purity aluminum oxide 99.5%.
