What you should know about titanium and titanium alloys:

Titanium has excellent corrosion and erosion resistance while maintaining high strength and low density. In addition, titanium is extremely mechanically and thermally resilient. Because of these properties, titanium is an important material in the aerospace, mechanical engineering and automotive industries. Due to its good body compatibility, the material is also often used for implants, pacemaker housings and surgical instruments. Titanium alloys have tensile strengths between 290 and 1200N/mm2 which is in the range of structural steels (310-690N/mm2) and alloyed steels (1100-1300N/mm2).

With titanium materials, a distinction is made between pure titanium and titanium alloys, which are divided into different grades (Gr) depending on the alloy components.

With commercially available titanium, a distinction is made between pure titanium and titanium alloys. These can be divided into different degrees. Depending on the grade, the titanium has different physical properties and can be processed differently.

Machining titanium according to drawing:

We supply you with semi-finished products for your in-house production, but we also take over the CNC production of your parts according to drawings. Depending on the alloy composition, the processing of the different titanium grades is very different and requires the necessary knowledge, especially for high-precision components. In addition to machining titanium by turning and milling, we also offer laser machining as a service. With our many years of experience, we are happy to support you.

In addition to machining titanium, we also offer semi-finished products such as bars and rods from stock. The rods are used by our customers in their raw state, but they are also often processed further.

Rods and rods are usually available from stock in different dimensions. We also manufacture special dimensions according to customer requirements and ship them worldwide. In addition to different diameters, custom-made products also include precision machining of the surface.

Like our other semi-finished products, rods and rods are available in pure titanium and in all common titanium alloys.

We manufacture special dimensions according to customer requirements and ship them worldwide. In addition to different widths and lengths, custom-made products also include thickness tolerances, which can be maintained down to a few micrometers on customer request.

Titanium wire is installed by our customers in different areas of application. In addition to medical technology and aerospace, titanium wire is also increasingly being used in classic mechanical and plant engineering.

Titanium wire is available from stock in various dimensions. Precision wire with diameter tolerances of just a few microns can be manufactured to customer requirements. The surface treatment is also carried out on customer request.
