We manufacture crucibles from pyrolytic boron nitride and coat heaters and other components with pyrolytic boron nitride.
In many areas, there is no way around pyrolytic boron nitride to melt or vaporize materials without reacting.
What is pyrolytic boron nitride?
Pyrolytic boron nitride is white and electrically non-conductive. It is a non-toxic and dense material that has a purity of 99.99%. Pryrolytic boron nitride is nearly impermeable to air and non-reactive to acids, bases, salt and most metals.
The strength of pyrolytic boron nitride increases with increasing temperature and reaches its maximum strength at 2200°C. It also has good shock resistance, good conductivity and a low coefficient of expansion with a high dielectric strength.
The production:
Pyrolytic boron nitride crucibles or coatings are manufactured using a CVD process.
In the case of crucibles, a negative body of graphite is vaporized in several layers with boron nitride particles until the appropriate wall thickness is reached. After the component has cooled down, it can finally be demoulded. Graphite heaters are coated with pyrolytic boron nitride in the same way, using the boron nitride layer as an insulator.
We manufacture pyrolytic crucibles according to drawings. We respond to customer requests and manufacture crucibles in various dimensions, from prototypes to small quantities to series production.
The crucibles can be conical or straight. In addition to crucibles, we also manufacture pyrolytic boron nitride tubes.

Pyrolytic boron nitride heaters usually have a pyrolytic graphite core. Due to the similar thermal expansion coefficients of the two materials, they can be connected to one another very well. The pyrolytic graphite is the conductive and therefore heating part of this heater, while the pyrolytic boron nitride forms the electrical insulation layer.
In addition to crucibles and heaters made of pyrolytic boron nitride, we manufacture any components according to customer requirements and drawings.
